I'm guessing this was 2008. The date on the original video is 2012 but that's when I received it. It was back when I did birthday shows (and those vests fit me!). The birthday girl's father asked if he could record the show and I said or course, go ahead, and I'm glad I did!

Now to set this up. The trick is much longer. I have the child pick a card, keep it from me and then attempt to 'read her mind' and draw the card on a sketch pad. I ask her to imagine that the card she is holding is like a colouring picture - in her mind - and if she can do that, I will attempt to draw that card. When I have finished drawing what I believe to be the card, I show it to everyone.

I am supposed to be wrong.

Keep in mind, she's 8 and that this is a complete surprise to me.

It never happened before or since and I've done this trick a few 1000 times.
